The generation of new knowledge relevant to Implementation Research is central to the work of the Implementation Research Platform.  In addition to deriving lessons on best ways to scale up interventions and services in LMICs, this is also vitally important in building the field of Implementation Research.

 

Our innovative calls that seek to involve both researchers and decision-makers provide a variety of opportunities to conduct programmatic research, acquire methodological skills and strengthen policymaker capacity to demand, analyse and utilize research for decision making.  In addition to research funding, we facilitate capacity building in LMICs through the  provision of training programs in Implementation Research for our grantees, both researchers and decision makers, we facilitate capacity building in LMICs. Over the past four years, through our calls, we have made available, grants worth almost 10 million US dollars.
